After the preceding twenty days of rehearsals, the national tour with Ball Park Music got underway last night at a sold out University of Wollongong. Following opener Jessie Davidson, the band played a mixed set of mostly new songs from White Deer Park. Thomas, Myers, Gus & Luke will now head on to Newcastle (tonight), Canberra (April 4), Sydney (April 5), Coffs Harbour (April 9), Coolangatta (April 10), Brisbane (April 11), Byron Bay (April 12), Brisbane all ages show (April 13), Launceston (April 17), Burnie (April 18), Hobart (April 19/20), Perth (April 24), Albany (April 25), Bunbury (April 26), Fremantle (April 27), Adelaide (May 2), Melbourne (May 3/4). The band will also be celebrating (?) the delay of the vinyl version of their album with a Record Store Day stripped down performance at Mojo Music in Launceston (April 19).
